It is necessary to discuss about the humanistic value of art education. Inquiry into the value is a step stone for an effective pedagogy. For this purpose, this article discovers the need for the humanistic value of art education in relation to our understanding of value-based life story. Art education is not a general theme-based approach, but a value-embedded inquiry within the context of our daily life. Along with this argument, this study reviews 2015 Korea National Art Curriculum in order to figure out how the recent nation art curriculum aims for the humanistic value of art education within the context of daily life. At this ground, this paper discusses, for example, three alternative approaches to realize the humanistic value of art education at school. First idea goes with our focusing on all things good and the worst (for example, pleasure, anger, sadness, diligentness etc.) we experience throughout our daily life. Second idea suggests story-telling centered approach. Final idea explains process- and inquiry-centered approach. The approaches, however, are conceptual, so further studies will enrich more practical idea to realize a change of current art education toward the humanistic value of art education.

미술교육의 인문학적 가치에 대한 담론을 바탕으로 이에 대한 구체적 실천 방안이 논의될 필요가 있 다. 이를 위해 우선, 미술교육에서 인문학적 접근의 필요성을 가치의 문제와 삶의 이야기에 대한 이해 의 문제로 정리한다. 미술교육은 보편적인 주제 중심적인 접근이 아니라 삶의 맥락에서 실천하는 가 치의 문제로 제안한다. 그리고 미술교육의 인문학적 접근을 가치와 삶의 이야기라는 관점에서 2015 개정 미술과 교육과정을 검토한다. 마지막으로 인문학적 탐구를 위한 미술수업 방안을 첫째, 희노애락 중심, 둘째, 스토리텔링 중심, 셋째, 과정과 탐구 중심적인 관점에서 논의한다. 하지만 본 논문은 제시 된 세 가지 미술수업 방안에 대한 제안적 논의 수준에 머문다. 구체적인 지도 계획과 사례에 대한 후 속 연구가 기대된다.
