This study is to investigate the entering process of South Korea, the National Intelligence Service Korea and Hanawon training course curriculum through the North Korean defectors. To this Study, From May 13 to May 20 2016, in-depth interviews and narrative inquiry was conducted. March 15 - July 26, the defector-related professional materials, doctoral dissertations, books, defectors another video interview, defector the handwritten information, including that related to home residents been reviewed. Results of this study, South Korea entry path was straight or through the third country residence Immigration. Each of the South line of other rewards and landing fee was different. Again escaped without human life cycle of was repeated. Without Human rights of the NIS and Hanawon center's life was unhappy and didn't help or support to adaptation for North korean defectors living in the South Korea. Therefore, National policy for North korean defectors should be changed Hanawon center to community model for Social Integration.

본 연구는 북한이탈주민이 경험한 남한 입국과정, 국정원 및 하나원 교육과정을 내러티브 탐구 방법을 통해 알아보고 중요한 의미를 발견하여 향후 발전적인 북한이탈주민 정책 방향을 제안해보고자 실시된 연구이다. 이에 북한이탈주민의 국외 체류 및 난민 현황, 하나원 교육과정 등을 알아보고 2016년 5월 13일 ~ 5월 20일까지 남한에 입국한지 3~5년 사이의 북한이탈주민 7명과 면접내용의 적합성 및 일관성 확보를 위해 남한에 입국한지 5년 이상이면서 직업상 많은 북한이탈주민을 만나는 북한이탈주민 1명을 면접하였다. 또한 2016년 3월 15일부터 2016년 7월 26일까지 녹음된 파일들과 연구참여자와의 면접시 메모 내용, 북한이탈주민 관련 전문 자료, 박사학위 논문, 서적, 북한이탈주민 다른 인터뷰 동영상, 북한이탈주민 관련 홈페이지에 있는 수기 내용 등을 검토하였다. 자료분석을 통해 남한 입국과정, 국정원 및 하나원 생활의 두 주제로 연구결과를 추출하였으며 이러한 연구결과에 기반하여 국가차원에서 이미 범죄 및 비행, 장애, 학교, 군대 등 많은 국가시설이 시설내처우의 한계와 문제점을 절감하고 지역사회내에서 공존과 공생할 방법을 모색하여 변화하고 있는 것을 교훈삼아 하나원 역시 시설내처우를 벗어난 사회내처우의 방향성을 모색해봐야 하는 것을 제안하였다.
