This study try to reconsider the studies these inquired into locative markers from the latter part of Middle Korean to modern Korean. Especially, we set limits to consider the argument and rethink of locative marker ‘-에(e)’, ‘-에셔(esyeo)’, the form of ‘-에게(ege)’ and the so-called unusual locative case from the latter part of Middle Korean to modern Korean. To do these, we consider the function of ‘-에(e)’ which chimed in with ‘-에셔(esyeo)’ in the latter part of Middle Korean on the second chapter. Also we inspect closely the two fundamentally different studies about the formation of ‘-에셔(esyeo)’ in the latter part of Middle Korean on the third chapter. Indeed, we discuss the reason that the form of ‘-에게(ege)’ was not a morpheme but syntactic structures and the process of transition in the latter part of Middle Korean on the forth chapter. Lastly, we examine thoroughly preceding researches about the so-called unusual locative case ‘-ᄋᆡ/의’ and indicate their problems from the latter part of Middle Korean to modern Korean on the fifth chapter.

이 글에서는 中世國語時期부터 近代國語時期까지의 副詞格助詞에 대한 지금까지의 硏究史와 각 연구들에서 되짚어볼 문제들을 살펴보고자 하였다. 특히 중세국어부터 근대국어시기까지의 부사격조사 ‘-에, -에서, -에게’의 對應 形態와 所謂 特異處格助詞 ‘-ᄋᆡ/의’에 한정하여 論難의 餘地가 있거나 再考할 필요가 있는 내용을 중심으로 논의를 진행하였다. 2장에서는 후기중세국어시기의 ‘-에’가 ‘-에셔’의 기능을 가졌음을 언급한 선행연구들을 중심으로 이 시기의 ‘-에’의 기능을 살펴보았다. 3장에서는 후기중세국어의 ‘-에셔’의 형성에 관한 서로 다른 2가지의 주장을 면밀히 고찰하여 각각의 문제점들에 대해 논의하였다. 4장에서는 후기중세국어시기에 ‘-에게’形이 助詞가 아닌 統辭的 構造體를 형성한 이유와 그 변천 과정에 대해 살펴보았다. 마지막으로 5장에서는 所謂 特異處格助詞 ‘-ᄋᆡ/의’에 대한 선행연구들의 태도 차이를 살펴보고 기존 연구의 문제점에 대해 논의하였다.
