Focused on housing development for working class, the research surveyed people who want to buy an apartment from small to medium-sized in Gumi. Buyers tend to investigate various information of house and add value to housing product which fills what they require. However, requirements of buyers are very diverse. It is regarded as personal internal housing value and preference. In this research, therefore, surveyed and analyzed about considerations and tendency to prefer apartment when choice or buy home. In unique and diverse generation, it's obvious to reflect consumer's strong needs on housing design. for this reason, gathering each consumer's needs and storing all the data are the key task to develop housing design. But we need to think that either cunsumer's needs and housing concepts are retional or not. Furthermore, we should consider that this situation affects our living life beneficially as compared with sociological investment coats.

본 연구는 도시 서민층을 위한 주택개발이 시대적 과제임에 주목하여 구미시의 중․소형 아파트 구매예정자를 대상으로 설문조사를 통한 실증적 연구를 행하였다. 주택구매는 일반상품과 달리 구매자는 그들의 요구사항에 대해 많은 정보를 탐색하고 요구를 충족시켜주는 것에 주택상품으로서 가치를 부여하고 있다. 그러나 주택구매자의 요구사항은 매우 다양하며 이는 개인의 내면적인 주거가치와 주택선호경향에 의해 표출되어진다고 할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 중․소형 아파트 구매예정자를 대상으로 주거가치에 의한 거주지선택 및 주택구입 시 고려사항과 주택선호경향 등에 대해 조사․분석하였다.
