This study clarifies the features of public and private space on Choryang Ibagu-gil in Busan. Choryang Ibagu-gil is the street that starts from Busan Station and leads to the road that crosses the mountainside. Choryang Ibagu-gil was first made into a street with stories in 2012, and its design and space structure are constantly changing, even today. Forming a public street for visitors from outside at the private domain of a high-density residential area is bound to create a spatial conflict or change in its boundary, because spaces with different characters will inevitably meet. Ibagu-gil is an early model of a theme-based path with stories, many of which have since been made all over Korea, and as such is used as a reference by many people. Therefore, clarifying the characteristics in the relationship of public and private space on Choryang Ibagu-gil will be a significant reference in creating many theme-based paths in the future.

본 연구는 부산시의 초량이바구길의 공적·사적 공간구성의 특징을 규명하는 것이다. 초량이바구길은 부산역에서 시작하여 산의 허리를 가로지르는 산복도로가 있는 곳까지의 길을 말한다. 초량이바구길은 2012년에 처음 이야기가 있는 길로 만들어져서 지금도 계속 길의 디자인과 공간 구성이 변하고 있다. 사적 영역인 주거밀집지역에 만들어진 외부 여행객들을 위한 공적인 길의 조성은 필연적으로 서로 다른 성격의 공간이 만나는 곳이기 때문에 그 경계에서 공간적 다툼이나 변경이 있을 것이다. 본 이바구 길은 현재 전국에서 계속해서 만들어지고 있는 이야기가 있는 테마형 길의 초기모형으로서 많은 사람들이 참고로 하는 길이다. 따라서 초량이바구길의 공적·사적 공간관계의 특징을 규명하는 것은 이후에 만들어질 많은 테마형 길의 조성에 중요한 참고자료가 될 것이다.
