The change process of Jeompil and the conformity of Jaejon (all the divine entities) and Jongja (seed words) are determined in this paper. Through the analysis of structure of Jongja characters generally, it's meaning and characteristics can be determined. Consequently, the meaning of Jongja character is determined and it is elucidated that Jongja characters consist of Jineon (true words) have the meaning of Jineon itself. In other words, Junjaejineon is for the mother of Buddha. Oryunjongja is for the image of Buddha's body. Beopsinjineon is for giving the nature of Buddha to the statue of Buddha. The main incantation of Sammiljineon is for the completion of Jeoman. It means that the three mystic things of the Buddha and the postulant guide us onto the Buddhahood and it is the completion of Jeoman. In the Jeoman ritual, spotting eyepupil is not only for the new statue of Buddha but also for the 63 entities. Taejang Mandala, Geumgang Mandala and various images are added to express Buddha's virtue. It seems that jeoman mandala-Byuljon mandala came to formation to gain the mysterious power of religious entity.

본고에서는 점필종류의 변천과정과 점필종자의 제존을 밝혀 제존과 종자의 일치성에 관해 논하였으며, 種子字의 구성을 포괄적으로 살펴보아 그 특징과 의의를 추론하였다. 그 결과 각 種子字에 함의된 내용은 물론, 진언으로 구성된 種子字는 진언자체가 갖는 의미도 있음을 알 수 있다. 즉, 준제진언은 부처를 만드는 어머니요, 오륜종자는 佛身의 형상을 갖추기 위함이며, 법신진언은 청정법신인 불성을 불상에 이입하기 위함이다. 또한 총지주인 삼밀진언은 불의 삼밀과 행자의 삼밀이 가지하여 점안을 완성시키기 위함이라고 볼 수 있다. 더불어 새로 모시게 될 부처만을 점필 하는 것이 아니라 태장만다라와 금강계만다라의 구성을 첨가하여 점안의식에 맞는 많은 像을 배열하여 그 사상적 내용을 상징하고 이념도 전개되어 총 63존을 점필하게 된다. 이것은 부처가 갖는 많은 덕상을 표현하여 신앙대상의 불가사의한 가피를 얻고자 점안의 성격에 맞게 점안만다라 즉, 별존만다라를 생성하게 된 것으로 보인다.
