Most design planning made at present embody the arrangements, functions, and aesthetic values of the spaces required in this era from the contemporary perspective. However, the success of design begins not from the time of completion, but from the moment when it is accepted by the recipients. In particular, the value of space is changed over time due to the irreversibility. The purpose of this study is to build a visualization model for the action of space influencing factors that operate over time and enable it to be used for space design planning considering sustainable value. A step-by-step visualization model was developed for the space value creation factors and operations including the flow of time by drawing the operations of factors that create the value of space while identifying the characteristics and limitations in the space design planning stage. Furthermore, the potential for utilization of the model was demonstrated by analyzing the DDP which requires sustainable planning as an urban landmark through the developed model. The main role of this model is to predict the phenomena and values of space that appear over time and to perform basic investigation and analysis that can be applied to planning. The significance of this model lies in the presentation of a visual utilization method to predict the actions of phased factors according to the purpose of the space and to clearly visualize the values generated as a result of it.

현재 대부분의 디자인 기획은 현 시대 요구되는 제품 또는 공간의 기능과 미적 가치를 현재적 시점으로 담아낸다. 하지만 디자인의 실제적 가치 생성은 수용자로부터 받아들여진 후부터 발생되며, 특히 공간은 비가역성과 고착성으로 인하여 오랜 시간에 걸쳐 가치가 변화된다. 따라서 본 연구는 시간의 흐름에 따라 작용하는 공간 영향 요소들의 시각화 모델을 구축, 지속적 가치를 고려한 공간 디자인 기획에 활용 가능하게 하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 현재 대부분의 공간디자인 기획에서의 특성과 한계를 파악하고 공간의 가치를 형성하는 요소들의 작용을 추출, 시간의 흐름을 포함한 단계별 공간가치 생성 요소와 작용에 대한 시각화 된 모델을 개발하였다. 또한, 개발된 모델을 통하여 지속가능한 기획이 필요한 동대문 디자인 플라자를 분석하여 모델의 활용 가능성을 증명하였다. 시간의 흐름에 따라 나타나는 공간의 현상과 가치들을 예측하여 공간 기획 시 적용 할 수 있는 기반 조사 및 분석 가능한 틀을 제시하였다. 공간을 기획할 시 활용 가능한 시간의 단계별 공간의 가치 발생 요소와 작용을 가시적으로 보일 수 있도록 시각적 활용의 방법을 제시했다는 것에 연구의 의의가 있다.
