The purpose of this study is to draw crucial factors to vitalize drone sport and suggest ways to vitalize drone sport effectively based on expertsʼ opinions by using the Delphi method and AHP. To attain the goal, this author examined advanced research and literature and then designed the study in accordance with the purpose. Delphi research and AHP were performed three times with 13 experts of drone sport from academic circles, media, associations, and amateur groups. Based on the results, as factors to vitalize drone sport, 5 superordinate and 23 subordinate factors were drawn including facilities, policies, programs, marketing, and organizations. The followings are the results: first, since the space to fly drones is not sufficient, it is needed to expand facilities. Second, because there are many regulations for drones which hinder the growth of drone sport, it is necessary to revise the rules or systems. Third, to vitalize drone sport, it is needed to cultivate specialized manpower that can perform education about the operation of drones or safety rules. Fourth, as drone sport are spotlighted as next generation sport, it is needed to perform marketing aggressively through various channels, for instance, SNS or YouTube. Fifth, it is necessary to expand the base in order to position drone sport as an area for ordinary people, too, not just as a hobby for some big fans.

이 연구에서는 드론 스포츠의 활성화 방안을 위한 중요 요인을 도출하고, 델파이 방법과 계층 분석법(AHP)을 이용하여 전문가들의 의견을 중심으로 효과적인 드론 스포츠 활성화 방안을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 이를 해결하기 위해 선행연구 및 문헌을 검토한 후, 이 연구의 목적에 맞게 연구 설계를 하였다. 학계, 미디어, 협회, 아마추어 선수 등 드론 스포츠 전문가 13명을 대상으로 3차례에 걸친 델파이 조사와 계층 분석법(AHP)과정을 실시하였다. 그 결과 드론 스포츠 활성화 요인으로 시설, 정책, 프로그램, 마케팅, 조직 등 5개의 상의 요인과 23개의 하의 요인으로 구 성 되었으며, 연구의 결과들은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 드론을 날릴 수 있는 공간이 부족함에 따라 시설물 확충이 필요한 것으 로 나타났다. 둘째, 드론에 대한 각종 규제는 드론 스포츠 성장을 가로막고 있는 것으로 법규, 제도 개선 필요 한 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 드론 스포츠가 활성화되기 위해서 드론조종, 안전 수칙, 등을 교육 할 수 있는 전문 인력 양성이 필요 한 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 드론 스포츠가 차세대 스포츠로 각광 받고 있는 만큼 SNS, 유투브, 등 다양한 채널을 통한 적극적인 마케팅이 필요 한 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 드론이 일부 매니아들을 위한 취미가 아니라 대중들을 위한 스포 츠 영역으로 입지를 강화하기 위해서는 저변 확대가 이루어져야 할 것으로 나타났다.
