We investigated refractive errors and corneal power with 3 factors such as M, J0, and J45 as power vector to find out the changes of refractive errors of the before and after cataract surgery in 119 adults aged 45∼85 years with cataract. After the surgery, the 3 factors were changed as–0.29±2.38D to –0.18±0.69D in spherical equivalent power which is the M factor, –0.34±0.68D to–0.05±0.42D in the J0 factor, and 0.11±0.45 to 0.02±0.17 in the J45 factor. Before and after the surgery, corneal mean refractive power, J0, and J45 were changed from 44.11±1.61D to 44.20±1.58D, 0.01±0.50D to 0.08±0.49D, and 0.02±0.29 to 0.08±0.49, respectively. The results showed that J0 was the highest relativeness in correlation of the pre- and post-surgery for refractive errors, mean corneal power was the highest correlation for corneal power factor, and corneal power factor was the higher correlation much more than refractive error factor.

백내장이 있는 45∼85세 총 119명의 백내장 수술 전후의 굴절이상 변화도를 알아보기 위하여 굴절이상과 각막굴절력을 power vector에 의하여 M, J0, J45 3가지 성분으로 분석하였다. 등가구면 굴절력인 M 성분은 백내장 수술 전 –0.29±2.38D에서 수술 후 –0.18±0.69D로, J0성분은 –0.34±0.68D에서–0.05±0.42D로, J45성분은 0.11±0.45에서 수술 후 0.02±0.17로 변화하였다. 각막평균 굴절력은 백내장 수술 전 44.11±1.61D에서, 백내장 수술 후 44.20±1.58D로, J0성분은 0.01±0.50D에서, 0.08±0.49D로 J45성분은 0.02±0.29에서, 0.08±0.49로 변화하였다. 굴절이상에 대한 수술 전후 상관관계는 J0성분이 가장 높은 상관성이 있는 것으로 나타났고, 각막굴절 성분에 대한 상관관계는 평균 각막굴절력이 가장 높은 상관성이 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 각막굴절력 성분이 굴절이상 성분보다 더 높은 상관관계를 나타냈다.
