Objective : This study aimed at analyzing occupational goal activities consistent with the general and functional status and level of participation in stoke patients. Methods : This study evaluated the general and functional status and level of participation of stroke patients, and interviews were conducted to ask them about what goal activity they want to participate in. The frequencies of the goal activities based on each patient’s general, functional, and participating level were analyzed and classified based on their occupation. Results : Based on gender, the most desired goal activity was driving for male patients and preparing a meal for female patients. Based on the affected sides, the most desired goal activity was using chopsticks for right-side affected patients, and preparing a meal for left-side affected patients. Based on the level of dependency, the most desired goal activity was driving for patients with a low dependency level and toilet use and functional ambulation for patients with a high dependency level. The most desired activity was using public transportation for patients who have a high level of participation in activities of daily living, gardening for patients who have a high level of participation in social activities, and driving for patients who have high level of participation in leisure activities. Conclusion : This study was conducted to provide basic information that can be used to set goals in occupational therapy by analyzing the occupational goals for each of the patients based on their general and functional status and level of participation.

목적 : 뇌졸중 환자의 일반적 및 기능적 특성과 참여 수준에 따른 작업적 목표활동을 조사하고 분석하는 것이다. 연구방법 : 본 연구는 입원치료를 받고 있는 뇌졸중 환자 75명을 대상으로 일반적인 특성, 기능 및 참여 수준에 대해 평가하고 자신의 원하는 목표활동을 인터뷰를 통해 조사하였다. 얻어진 자료로 일반적인 특성, 기능 및 참여 수준에 따라 목표활동의 빈도를 분석하고 작업의 하위 개념에 따라 분류하였다. 통계분석은 SPSS Window Ver. 18.0으로 기술통계 및 빈도분석을 실시하였다. 결과 : 일반적 특성 중 성별에 따라서 남자 뇌졸중 환자는 운전하기, 여자 뇌졸중 환자는 식사준비하기가 가장 원하는 목표활동이었다. 손상측에 따라서는 우세측 마비 환자는 젓가락질하기, 비우세측 마비 환자는 식사준비하기가 가장 원하는 목표활동이었다. 기능적 특성 중 독립성의 수준으로 분류하였을 때 의존도가 낮은 집단에서는 운전하기, 의존도가 높은 집단에서는 화장실가기, 실내 이동하기가 가장 원하는 목표활동이었다. 참여수준에 따른 목표활동은 일상생활활동의 참여가 높은 집단에서는 대중교통이용하기, 사회활동의 참여가 높은 집단에서는 텃밭 가꾸기, 여가활동의 참여가 높은 집단에서는 운전하기로 나타났다. 결론 : 뇌졸중 환자의 일반적 및 기능적 특성과 참여 수준에 따라 자신이 선택한 작업적 목표를 분석해보아 작업치료사들에게 목표설정 시 이용할 수 있는 기초자료를 제공하는 데에 의미가 있다.
