The purpose of this study is contrastive of apology expression of Korean and Japanese. There are several type of apology, It focused on public apology of group to group in this study. For the research, food-related companies of the expiration date misstatement, place of origin misstatement, bacterial detection, such as by contamination, were examined each publicly apologize to the case in Korean and Japanese to the consumer. Collected apology texts look on the basis of text structure, apology strategy and apology expression and looking for feature in Korean and Japanese and compared each other, The results are as follows. First, favored structure of apology text is different from Korean companies and Japanese companies. Compared to Korean companies, Japanese companies prefer a more formal structure. Second, the Korean companies and Japanese companies, although there are differences of each of its surface, to run the apology speech acts and all use the IFIDs. Third, the speech acts performed apology strategy is Korean companies and Japanese companies are different. compared to Korean companies are using a variety of strategies, usually used only some of the strategy favored by Japanese companies.

본고에서는 한국어와 일본어의 사과 표현을 대조했다. 여러 가지 유형 의 사과 중에서 집단이 다른 집단에게 공적으로 한 사과를 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 식품 관련 기업이 유통 기한 허위 표시, 원산지 허위 표시, 세 균 검출, 이물질 혼입 등으로 인해 소비자들에게 공적으로 사과한 사례를 한국과 일본에서 각각 찾아보았다. 이렇게 모은 사과문을 텍스트 구조, 사 과 표현 및 사과 전략으로 나눠 한국과 일본 각각의 특징을 찾고, 이 둘을 대조했다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 한국 기업과 일본 기업이 선호하 는 사과문의 텍스트 구조는 다르다. 한국 기업에 비해 일본 기업은 더 형 식적인 구조를 선호한다. 둘째, 한국 기업과 일본 기업은 각 그 양상의 차 이가 있기는 하지만 모두 발화수반력 지시장치를 사용해서 사과 화행을 수행한다. 셋째, 한국 기업과 일본 기업이 선호하는 사과 화행 수행 전략 은 다르다. 한국 기업은 다양한 전략을 사용하는 반면에 일본 기업은 선 호하는 몇 가지 전략만을 주로 사용한다.
