The purpose of this study analyzed the effects of elderly tourist's perceived tourism value and experience on elderly welfare tourism satisfaction and quality of life. This study used a convenience sampling method on those who are interested in elderly welfare tourism in Daegu Metropolitan City and Gyeongsangbuk-do Province. Regarding the research method for this study, a field survey was conducted from June 22, 2015 to July 30, and 396 samples were utilized as effective samples during the empirical analysis process. The result was summarized as follows. First, the effect of elderly welfare tourism satisfaction showed that tourism value and tourism experience variables had a statistically significant direct effect. Second, the effect of quality of life of elderly tourists showed that tourism value, tourism experience, and tourism satisfaction variables had a statistically significant direct effect. According to above finding, it was proven that tourism value, tourism experience, and tourism satisfaction variables were a mechanism having a direct effect on the quality of life of elderly tourists.

노인관광객이 인식하는 관광가치와 관광경험이 노인복지관광 만족 및 삶의 질에 미치는 영향에 대한 본 연구는 노인관광객이 인식하는 관광가치와 관광경험 영역을 외생변수로, 노인복지관광 만족을 매개변수로, 그리고 삶의 질을 내생변수로 하는 가설적 경로모형을 설정하여 검증할 연구목적을 달성하고자 하였다. 연구결과 노인복지관광 만족에 대한 효과에서는 관광가치, 관광경험이 유의한 직접효과가 있었다. 관광가치가 관광경험에 비해 더 효과가 높았으며, 이들 변수는 노인복지관광 만족을 48.4% 설명하였다. 다음으로 노인관광객의 삶의 질에 대한 효과에서는관광가치, 관광경험, 그리고 노인복지관광 만족이 유의한 직접효과가 있었다. 또한 관광가치와 관광경험은 유의한 간접효과도 있었다. 이들 가운데 삶의 질에 대한 총 효과가 가장 높은 것은 노인복지관광 만족으로 나타났고, 다음으로는 관광가치, 관광경험순이었으며, 이들 변수는 삶의 질을 61.0% 설명하였다. 따라서 노인복지관광정책개발 및 노인복지관광상품개발을 위해서는 노인관광객이 인식하는 관광가치 및 관광경험과 노인복지관광 만족과의 관계뿐만 아니라 이들 요소들이 노인관광객의 삶의 질에 미치는 효과분석 결과에 대한 세밀한 검토도 필요하겠다. 향후 노인복지관광정책 대안 도출 및 노인복지관광서비스 차별화 방안 모색을 위한 연구에도 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다.
