In this paper, we conducted a study on the variety factors influence the text readability'. Especially through an analysis of 'the length of text(paragraphs, sentences, and the number of morphemes)', 'Japanese notation(Kanji, Hiragana, Katakana, etc.)', 'the Chinese character in Japanese text', we determined a certain standard and built a tool(AJ-JpnRa Tool) of 'the readability of Japanese text'. For this purpose, we built the Japanese Language Proficiency Test(JLPT, 1 to 4 degree) database of the last 20 years: 1990 to 2009. The 'AJ-JpnRa Tool' established through this study can provide objective criteria for determining the text readability, how easy a certain Japanese text is to read and understand for readers. And through this we will be allowed to have wide application: Japanese-language education and learning and the 'Easy Japanese(やさ しい日本語)'.
