This study is about the honorific expressions of 'kuru' especially focusing on'okoshi', 'omie', and 'oide'. Examples were taken from BCCW(Balanced Corpus ofContemporary Written Japanese). The conclusion is as follows. Most of examples of 'okoshi' were used with 'kudasai' as expressions of requests. This expressions were used much more than any other similar expressions. Andwhen examples of 'okoshi' were used as nouns, particles almost follow it. Most of examples of 'omie' were used with 'ninaru' form. And when they wereused as nouns, most of them were used as predicates. Examples of 'oide' were used various forms and meanings, but a small numberof them were used as honorific expressions of 'kuru'. This result suggests that 'okoshi' is making inroads on 'oide' territory because'okoshi' was seldom used as a 'kuru' honorific before. In addition, 'okoshi' hassimilar meaning with 'oide'. This fact indicates that 'oide' is declining as a honorific of 'kuru'.
