영어
In Japan there are almost always established forms of utensils and containersrelated with particular foods like Miso soup, Suimono, Butajiru, Shiruko and Zousui. Japanese are known to use only chopsticks with meals, but they use renge(Chinesespoon) or Kisyaku(wooden spoon) for foods like rice porridge and Zosui. Individualmembers of many Japanese families use their own chopsticks and rice bowls, whichis a culture unique to Japanese. Japanese language has food verbs used for eating. Different verbs are used forthe motion according to the point of time. Different verbs are also chosen for thedifferent foods and different modes of intake. When they chew food and take it in, ‘taberu’ is used. When they don’t chew, ‘nonu’is used. Whether chewed or not is the basis for the choice, between ‘taberu’ and‘nonu.’
