The scope of this research concerns the “红+BB” type words in the modern Chinese language, and through a comparative analysis on the usage of “红+BB” type words in dictionaries and corpus data, the following facts can be found. In most “红+BB” types, the common component is related to “红(Hong)” and the diagnostic component is related to “BB”. However, based on dictionary definitions, some “红+BB” types do not present the diagnostic component. Furthermore, some examples of “BB” are hardly related to the diagnostic component. For example, these types of “BB” play a structural role of an affix, or they signify the reddish hue similar to the meaning of “红(Hong)”. The results of the corpus analysis demonstrate that the human body parts appear most frequently as the objects described by “红+BB” types, particularly in reference to the face area among the body parts. Among the co-occurring vocabulary with the same form, the character “脸(Lian)” appears with the highest frequency, which clarifies the language usage habits in contemporary China.

‘红+BB’형의 주해는 사전마다 서로 다르게 여러 가지 차이점이 있으며 묘사 대상 등의 제시가 부족하다는 아쉬움이 있다. 또한 ‘红+BB’형의 의미에서 대부분 공통적 성분은 ‘红’과 시차적 성분인 ‘BB’와 관련이 있지만 사전 주해에 근거한 일부 ‘红+BB’형은 시차적 성분이 제시되어 있지 않는다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 현대 중국어 ‘红+BB’형의 말뭉치 자료와 표제어 수록 현황 등의 비교․분석을 통해 다음의 사실을 관찰할 수 있다. ‘红+BB’형의 일부 사전 수록 현황은 일반적인 학계의 견해, 현대 중국의 사용 실태 등이 충분히 반영되지 못한 부분이 있으며, 시차적성분을 관찰하기 어려운 일부 ‘BB’는 구조적 기능을 하는 접사에 속하거나 ‘A’와 비슷한 색상의미를 나타내는 경우 등을 볼 수 있다. 본고의 말뭉치 분석 결과에 따르면 ‘红+BB’형의 묘사 대상은 사람의 신체 출현 빈도가 가장 높으며, 신체 부위 중 특히 얼굴 부위가 많고 동일 형태의 공기 어휘 중에서는 ‘脸’의 출현빈도가 가장 높게 나타나 현대 중국의 언어사용 습관을 관찰할 수 있다.
