This paper aims to analyze the time series trends of college graduates' labor market achievement. The raw data on 'The Economically Active Population Survey' is used, and yearly or monthly labor market achievement of laborers who graduate college at the same year is analyzed. The results of the analysis show some interesting facts. The persons who graduate university more recently have experienced the more decreased employment ratio. The unemployment rate has not been changed significantly. This fact means the economically unactive population rate is increasing among recent university graduates. Junior college graduates, however, have not experienced the decreasing employment ratio. On the contrary, the more recently they graduated junior college, the higher ratio of professional jobs and regular jobs they have experienced. This situation may be related to the trend of labor supply after the 2000s that the number of university graduates has been increasing continuously, but that of junior college has kept the similar level.

본 논문은 대학을 졸업한 사람들의 노동시장 성과가 시계열적으로 어떠한 추세를 보이는지를 분 석하는데 목적이 있다. 분석은 경제활동인구조사 원자료를 이용하여 동일한 연도에 일반대학 및 전 문대학을 졸업한 사람들을 대상으로 연도별, 월별 노동시장 성과를 추적하는 방식을 이용하였다. 분석 결과 성, 연령, 결혼 여부 등 개인의 인적속성을 통제하더라도 일반대 졸업자의 경우 졸업 연도 가 최근인 졸업자일수록 고용률은 낮아지는 반면, 실업자 비율은 변화하지 않는 것으로 나타나고 있다. 이는 일반대 졸업자의 경우 그만큼 비경제활동인구층이 확대되는 추세를 보이고 있음을 의미 한다. 반면 전문대 졸업자의 경우에는 고용률 하락 경향이 나타나지 않는다. 취업한 사람 중 전문직 에 종사하는 사람의 비율과 상용직에 종사하는 사람의 비율을 보면, 전문대 졸업자의 경우 최근 연 도 졸업자일수록 이 비율이 높아지는 경향이 뚜렷한 반면, 일반대 졸업자의 경우 전문대 졸업자에 비해 상대적으로 그 정도가 약한 것으로 나타나고 있다. 이러한 현상은 2000년대 들어 일반대학 졸 업자 수는 꾸준히 증가하는 반면, 전문대학 졸업자 수는 정체되는 양상을 보이고 있다는 노동공급 측 요인과 관련성이 있는 것으로 판단된다.
