The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of 8 Weeks Combined exercise training on Serum Lipids and Insulin Resistance in Obese Middle-Aged Women. twenty participants were randomly allocated to Combined exercise training group(CEG, n=10) and control group(CG, n=10). In blood lipid profiles, triglyceride was decreased significantly. Total cholesterol and LDL-C had a tendency to be decreased slightly and HDL-C had a tendency to be increased slightly but there was no statistical significant difference. Combined exercise training significantly reduced insulin resistance and there was a statistical significant difference between groups. In conclusion, our study suggested that Combined exercise intervention for 8 weeks had a benefit of improvement of insulin resistance but, Serum Lipids. these result may be explained by shortness of exercise training period and weak exercise intensity.
