Purpose of this paper is for analysing current situation of domestic equestrian(horse) industry since 2011, when 'Horse Industry Promotion Act' became effective, and seeking the promotion of competitiveness of the industry. Based on the Michael Porter's 'Diamond Model', this paper has focused on the current level of the industry's competitiveness with analysing elements of production, elements of consumption, supporting areas, situation of competition and the industry's operational structure etc. I believe this paper could be helpful for boosting competitiveness of domestic equestrian(horse) industry and stimulate more high-quality papers on the subject in the future.
