The purpose of this study was to survey subjective perception type of adolescents' school violence through Q-methodology. Data was collected from 32 high school students by convenience sampling, and 33 Q-samples were subject to forced normal distribution on a nine point-scale. The collected data were analyzed using the PC-QUANL program. As the result of analysis, three types of school violence were identified : ‘Perceive Social Issues', ‘Hold the Assailant Responsible,’ and ‘Seek Countermeasures.’ This study verifies the level of recognition people have on school violence by these types, as well as their needs. It is expected that this study will be able to help targets of school violence by providing the basic data needed for practical and effective countermeasures against school violence.

본 연구는 Q-방법론을 이용한 연구로 학교폭력에 대한 청소년들의 태도 유형을 파악하고 각 유형별 특성을 분석함으로써 학교폭력 예방과 관리를 위한 기초자료를 마련하고자 시도되었다. 자료수집은 고등학생 32명(P-sample)을 편의표집방법으로 선정하였으며 33개의 Q-sample를 9점 척도의 Q 분포도 상에 강제정규분포하도록 하였다. 수집된 자료는 PC-QUANL 프로그램에 맞는 data-file을 작성한 후 Q-요인분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과, 학교폭력에 대한 주관적 인식구조는 3개의 유형이 나타났으며 이는 각각 ‘사회문제 인식형’과, ‘가해자 책임형’, ‘대응방안 모색형’이었다. 본 연구 결과는 각 유형별 특성에 따른 학교폭력에 대한 인식 정도와 요구도를 확인함으로써 대상자 입장에서의 보다 실제적이고 효율적인 대응방안 마련을 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.
