This study evaluates high schools in Namdong-gu, where crime rate is rapidly increasing, among autonomous Gu's in Incheon based on Seoul Renewal Promotion Project School Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) guideline, deduces common vulnerabilities, and finally presents the improvement plans for those vulnerabilities. In the result of this evaluation on the schools in Namdong-gu, common vulnerable items among the items that received lower than 60 points were toilet, elevator and general classroom and security alarm system was found to be more vulnerable factor than design factor. As installing CCTV in classroom and toilet can be socially problematic, installing emergency bell or emergency call responding to this can complement this vulnerability. However, these security alarm systems cause maintenance manpower and cost. Therefore, students' access can be controlled by inducing their behavior with lower cost through utilization of smart zone and non-smart zone.

본 연구에서는 인천광역시 자치구 중에서 범죄발생률이 빠르게 증가하고 있는 남동구 지역의 고등학교를 대상으로 서울시 재정비 촉진사업 학교 CPTED가이드라인을 기준으로 평가하여 공통된 취약부분을 도출하고 그에 따른 개선방안을 제시하고 있다. 본 연구에서 남동구지역의 학교를 대상으로 평가해본결과 60점미만의 점수를 받은 항목 중 공통항목으로 화장실, 엘리베이터, 일반교실 항목이 취약부분으로 평가되었으며 디자인요소보다 방범설비요소가 취약한 점을 알 수 있었다. 교실과 화장실에 경우 CCTV설치에 대한 사회적인 문제가 있어 이에 대응할 수 있는 비상벨 및 비상전화의 설치로 이 부분을 보안할 수 있으나, 이런 방범설비의 경우 유지인력과 비용이 발생하기 때문에 스마트존과 논-스마트존을 활용하면 적은 비용으로 학생들의 행동을 유도하여 학생들의 접근 및 통제가 가능하다.
