The purpose of the present study is to investigate the causal relationship between classroom environment, teaching method and creative competency. Structural Equation Modeling analysis was used to analyze 10302 primary/ middle/high school students' data by KEDI's longitudinal study. It was found that classroom environment directly influenced on teaching method and creative competency. Also, teaching method had an impact on creative competency. This relationship was maintained for primary/middle/high school students. This study suggested that classroom environment and teaching method are essential to improve students' creative competency.
