This study aims for searching systems and cases of corporations supporting performing arts and for finding out positive effects on their image. Moreover, this article makes a mention of the necessary of encouraging performing arts and describes how to vitalize their support. The result is as follows; To begin with, corporations are able to set their image by supporting performing arts. It gives credibility and that has an effect on achieving advancement of marketing strategy in order to produce profit. In addition, it provides employees’ satisfaction with cultural desire. It offers a chance to release internal conflicts and an active office life. Lastly, it also helps to make profits on corporation up and increase cultural competitiveness strength. Through direct and indirect investment on various arts, corporations are able to be against standardization based on free creativity and diversity. In conclusion, corporations are able to take social and economic benefit back by supporting performing arts. Therefore it seems to me that the more corporations have positive and aggressive support on arts, the more differentiated competitiveness they can have.

본 연구의 목적은 기업의 공연 예술 지원 제도와 사례들을 파악하고, 그로 인해 얻어지는 기업 이미지의 향상에 대해 알아보는 것에 있다. 이뿐만 아니라 예술 지원의 필요성을 제시하여 기업 지원의 활성화 방향에 대한 방법을 모색해 보고자 했다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기업은 문화 예술 지원 활동을 통해 기업에 대한 이미지를 구축할 수 있다. 이를 통해 기업의 신뢰도를 통한 신규 고객의 창출로 이윤을 올릴 수 있는 마케팅 전략의 발전 단계를 이룰 수 있는 기대 효과가 이루어진다. 둘째, 사원들의 문화 향유 욕구를 해소해 준다. 이것은 회사의 내부 갈등을 풀어줄 수 있는 기회를 제공하는 것이며, 생동감 있는 회사 생활을 할 수 있게 한다. 셋째, 기업의 이윤 상승효과와 문화 경쟁력의 확보에 도움을 준다. 다양한 예술에 대한 직접 간접적인 투자를 통해 기업은 자유로운 창조성과 다양성을 바탕으로 기존의 획일화에서 벗어날 수 있다. 이렇듯 기업은 문화 예술 지원을 통해 다양한 사회적, 경제적 혜택을 되돌려 받을 수 있으며, 문화에 대한 투자라는 인식을 가지고 적극적인 지원을 아끼지 않는다면 기업만의 차별화된 경쟁력을 가질 수 있을 것이다.
