Characteristics of the modem hairstyles feature aesthetic transfiguration to accept flexible value or criterion of beauty according to various aesthetic standards. This study analyzed the fashion hairstyles of the contemporary fashion magazine based on the expressive characteristics of aesthetic transfiguration featuring decoration, comeliness, grace, and subtiety. The aesthetic alienation deem the aesthetic values or criteria presented by the society as unnecessary, and acknowledges the relative autonomy of art. It is considered that the concept leads the way of thinking to the acceptance of new things by encouraging the diversity of art, providing an open mind to the aesthetic values or criteria, and discovering non-mainline, and what has been alienated and concealed.
