영어
Yeats’s poetry doesn’t embrace absolute poverty, nothingness, even pure glory of God, theologically abstruse language. Rather, his is full of intellectual quest and learnings. All these poetic temperaments display more occultic than mystic tendencies, intellectual rather than-affective, theological rather than theurgical.1) So his work can be classified into the western gnostic and hermetic traditions, where he has transformed and incorporated all the world-wide mystic and occultic knowledge (or mystic abstraction) into his poetry-writing. Yeats is, therefore, a low mystic, that is, occultic, rather than mystic, in essence.
