This paper introduces the creative process of Stories of Two Family, analyzes its contents and organization method. Stories of Two Family is hypertext narrative created by a large number of students who are majoring in literature writing in Hannam University in 2015. This work is composed of 118 unit-texts. Each unit-text uses Korean Characters and multimedia in many ways, is connected one another by hyperlink. Stories of Two Family is the single narrative, and also can be separated into 10 small narrative. 10 main characters are set in different types. For example, a singer trainee with severe traumas caused by sexual favours, a job applicant who is suffering from auditory hallucination, a mentally deranged person with psychopathy disposition, etc. They become a focusing agent and become a focused object in turns. Stories of Two Family has a great diversity of the method of descriptive composition. Some narrative begins at the end and goes back to the past being divided into two story. In some narrative, two stories towards inner side and outside of character interdigitate each other and continue without end. Digital narrative with a great diversity of the method of descriptive composition like this could be a suitable form for drawing up complicated desire of contemporary man.

본고는 하이퍼서사 「두 가족 이야기」의 창작 과정, 서사 내용과 하이퍼텍스트적 형식 등을 소개하고 분석한다. 「두 가족 이야기」는 2015년 한남대학교 문예창작 전공 학생들이 팀 작업을 통해 만든 하이퍼서사 작품으로, 현재 네이버 블로그와 다음 블로그에서 읽을 수 있다. 이 작품은 총 118개의 단위텍스트로 이루어졌다. 각 단위텍스트는 문자와 멀티미디어를 다양한 방식으로 사용하여 만들어졌고, 하이퍼링크를 통해 서로 연결된다. 「두 가족 이야기」는 하나의 서사 작품이기도 하면서, 10개의 개별 서사로 분리되기도 한다. 10개의 개별 서사의 주인공은, 성 접대를 요구받고 트라우마에 사로잡힌 가수 연습생, 어린 시절 경험 때문에 늘상 환청에 시달리는 취업준비생, 겉으로는 신사이지만 사이코패스 기질을 가진 정신질환자 등 다양한 인물로 설정되어 있다. 이들은 하이퍼링크를 통해 초점주체가 되기도 하고 초점대상이 되기도 하면서 각자 서로 다른 주제를 표현해 낸다. 「두 가족 이야기」는 형식면에서도 기존 인쇄서사와 다른 특성을 보여준다. 어떤 서사는 결말부터 시작하여 두 가지로 분기되면서 과거로 향하고, 어떤 서사는 해당 인물의 내면으로 들어가는 서사와 외면으로 나가는 서사가 서로 얽혀 끝없이 이어지는 순환 구성을 취한다. 또 어떤 서사는 주변 인물들과의 관계 속에서 만들어지는 짧은 이야기 몇 개가 하나로 얽힌 구성을 갖기도 한다. 이처럼 다양한 방식의 서사 구성이 가능한 하이퍼서사는 현대인의 복잡한 욕망의 구조를 드러내기 적합한 가장 현대적인 이야기 형식으로 평가될 수 있다.
