The purpose of this study is to develop basic convergence curriculum “Discovering Superior Collaboration” contents, which is intended to increase the employment competency with better consilience and communication competency. The needs of convergence education have been increasing with growing social and academic needs for ‘collaboration’ and ‘originality’. As the social and educational needs increase, the more numbers of university programs are offering convergence class and opening the convergence education as a new major. As a result, the present development of convergence education has reached a certain level of quantitative expansion. However, the qualitative aspects of curriculum contents have not developed accordingly. Therefore, to enhance understanding of convergence and develop proper curriculum, further research for the introductory convergence education courses is required. The study sample consists of two groups of students from P university ; a group of students who took the class focusing on collaboration which is one of the major employment competencies and the other group of students who participated in the team project based on collaboration. In terms of methodology, in-depth interview and survey were used to better understand what factors are necessary for students to improve their collaboration competency. Based on the results of analysis, “Discovering Superior Collaboration” curriculum is suggested and it is expected to lead students to better develop self-examination, self-understanding competency, and finally collaboration. The goal of the “Discovering Superior Collaboration” is to maximize the utilization of individual competency during the process of working in a group. To achieve this goal, the curriculum covers various methods of systemic collaboration process including effective leadership, discussion, communication, group working, decision-making skills and so on. Development of “Discovering Superior Collaboration” curriculum rearing collaboration competency might contribute to development of a variety of new basic convergence curriculum. In addition, it would be helpful for students to have better employment competency by using new ideas and solution based on collaborative network among teachers and students in learning process. This study has its limitations because a small group of sample and limited methods like in-depth interview and survey are used. When future study overcomes these limitations, more various and proper basic curriculum contents could be suggested. In addition, the enhancement of basic convergence could be applied to other eduction field and, as a result, students’ employment competency could be improved.

본 연구는 통섭적 사유와 소통의 기회를 확대시킴으로써 대학생의 취업 역량을 강화시키기 위한 기초 융복합 교과목인 ‘초협업을 알아보자’의 교과 콘텐츠 개발을 목적으로 하고 있다. ‘융합’ 및 ‘창의’에대한 학문적 사회적 요구의 증가는 대학들의 융복합 교육에 대한 관심을 증대시켜 왔다. 지금까지 대학에서의 융복합 교육은 인프라 구축 및 전공 개설 등 양적 확대를 가져왔지만 질적인 측면의 교과목콘텐츠의 체계화에는 아직 이르지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 융복합에 대한 이해를 도모하고, 교육과정의 체계를 확립하기 위해서는 기초 융복합 교과목에 대한 콘텐츠 관련 연구가 필요하다고 보여진다. 본 연구는 기존의 협업 학습방법에 대한 이론 연구를 기반으로 하여 P 대학교에 개설된 융복합 전공과목 중 대학생이 취업 및 진로를 위해 필요로 하는 역량 중 가장 기본적으로 요구되는 협업 역량을 중점을 둔 관련 교과목들을 수강한 학생들과 협업 관련 프로젝트를 수강한 학생들을 대상으로 진행되었다. 대상이 되는 학생들의 심층 인터뷰와 설문조사를 통한 학생들의 만족도를 조사하여, 학생들이 협업역량 함양을 위한 요구를 분석하고 이를 교과목 콘텐츠에 적절히 반영될 수 있도록 함으로써 협업 역량에 대한 학생들 스스로의 탐색을 통한 이해와 기능적인 능력들을 배양할 수 있도록 하는 내용으로‘초협업을 알아보자’ 교과목 콘텐츠를 제안하였다. 협업역량을 강화하기 위한 교육 콘텐츠 연구는 융복합 역량을 강화하기 위한 교육 활동에서 반드시필요한 부분으로 융복합 교육체계를 확고히 하는 토대가 될 뿐 아니라 학습자들의 협력을 통한 문제해결능력, 의사소통능력, 발표능력, 창의성 등을 향상시키고, 섬김과 나눔의 인성 교육을 통한 협업적 가치관을 함양시키는 토대를 제공할 수 있을 것이다. 또한 학습자 간의 협업 활동을 통하여 기업환경에갖춰야 할 구성원 역량으로 가장 우선시 되고 있는 협업 능력에 대한 체계적 교육을 통하여 혁신적인사회적 가치를 창출할 수 있는 협업적 리더십을 발휘하는 인재로서 그 능력을 인정받을 수 있는 계기를 마련해 줄 것이다. 본 연구에서 제안하는 기초 융복합 교과목의 개발은 융복합 교육 발전의 하나의 시도가 되고, 융복합 교육 체계를 확고히 하는 토대가 될 것으로 기대할 수 있을 것이다.
