This study investigates the relationship between Daejeongjang and Jaejojang which have been controversial recently. That is to say, it shows the role of Jaejojang, jeobon of Daejeongjang, by analysing the concerning materials. The results are as in the following. When Chukswaejang was published as a printed book, it took Jaejojang as an ‘original text’ superficially, but the ‘myungbon’ which had been generally corrected on the basis of Jaejojang adopted as an ‘original text’ was used as a real published text. In addition, although the ‘jeobon’ of Daejeongjang was Jaejojang, the ‘original book’ was the bingajangbon when Daejeongjang was published. Therefore it is considered that Jaejojang played a role as an ‘original text’ like the case of Chukswaejang regarding Daejeongjang. In other words, Chukswaejang and Daejeongjang made Hwangbyukjang and Bingajang as a “published text” respectively. In the light of the original, however, the original of Jaejojang not Hwangbyukjang and Bingajang was accepted as an “original text” or the “jeobon”. That is, most of the original in Hwangbyukjang and Bingajang used as a “published original text” of Chukswaejang and Daejeongjang was newly corrected based on Jaejojang.

본 연구는 최근 논란이 되었던 대정장(大正藏)과 재조장(再雕藏)의 관계 즉 대정장의 저본(底本)인 재조장의 역할에 대해서 관련 자료의 분석을 통해 규명해 본 것이다. 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 축쇄장(縮刷藏)은 활자본으로 출판될 때, 형식적으로는 재조장을 ‘원고’(原稿)로 삼았지만 실제 출판원고(出版原稿)로는 ‘명본’(明本, 실은 俓山藏을 복각한 黃檗藏임)이 사용되었는데, 이 명본(明本)은 ‘원본’(原本, 즉 오리지널 텍스트)으로 채택된 재조장에 의거하여 완전히 고쳐진 것이다. 그리고 대정장(大正藏)의 ‘저본’(底本)은 재조장(再雕藏)이었지만, 대정장이 출판될 때, 그 ‘원고’(原稿, 즉 출판원고)는 빈가장본(頻伽藏本)이 사용되었던 것이다. 따라서 재조장은 대정장에 있어서 축쇄장의 경우와 같이 ‘원본’(原本, 즉 오리지널 텍스트)으로서의 역할을 했던 것으로 보인다. 다시 말해서, 축쇄장과 대정장은 각각 황벽장(黃檗藏)과 빈가장(頻伽藏)을 “출판원고본”(出版原稿本)으로 삼았다. 그러나 그 원문(原文)에 있어서는 황벽장․빈가장이 아닌 재조장의 원문이 “원본”(原本, 즉 오리지널 텍스트) 또는 “저본”(底本)으로서 수용되었던 것이다. 즉 축쇄장과 대정장의 “출판원고본”(出版原稿本)으로 활용된 황벽장․빈가장에 있어서 그 원문은 거의 대부분이 모두 재조장을 바탕으로 하여 완전히 새롭게 고쳐진 것이었다.
