This study analyzed the positive influence of social support on school violence action and the mediating effect of human rights consciousness in order to reduce school violence action and then, it intended to seek measures to prevent school violence action. For this, answers of 580 adolescents (elementary, middle and high school students) in N city, Jeollabuk-do were used for analysis. According to result of the analysis, it was shown that friend support and family support among sub-factors of social support had significant positive relationships with human rights consciousness. In addition, it was shown that friend support and family support had significant negative relationships with school violence action. According to result of the analysis on mediating effect of human rights consciousness under influence of social support on school violence action, it was revealed that friend support and family support had partial mediating effect and that human rights consciousness did not have mediating effect between teacher support and school violence action. Based on above result, a plan to prevent school violence action was divided into respective roles of family, school and community and then, it suggested political and practical implications.

본 연구에서는 학교폭력 가해행동에 긍정적 영향을 미칠 수 있는 사회적 지지와 인권의식의 매개효과를 분석함으로써 학교폭력 가행행동을 감소시키고, 더 나아가 학교폭력을 예방하기 위한 방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 전라북도 N시에 거주하는 청소년(초등학교, 중학교, 고등학교) 580명의 응답을 분석에 활용하였다. 분석결과 사회적 지지의 하위요인 중 친구지지, 가족지지는 인권의식 간에 유의한 정(+)적인 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 친구지지, 가족지지는 학교폭력 가해행동 간에 유의한 부(-)적인 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 사회적 지지가 학교폭력 가해행동에 미치는 영향에서 인권의식의 매개효과를 확인해 본 결과 친구지지와 가족지지는 부분 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났고, 교사지지와 학교폭력 가해행동 사이에서 인권의식은 매개효과가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 결과를 바탕으로 학교폭력 가해행동을 예방하기 위한 방안을 가정, 학교 및 지역사회의 역할로 나누어 정책적, 실천적 함의를 제시하였다.
