In order to investigate the distribution of reptiles in South Korea, we analyzed the survey data of the 3rd National Ecosystem Survey. As a result, we mapped the distribution of 17 reptile species, in eleven families, and two orders in South Korea and briefly described the characteristics of the distribution of each species. Species distributed evenly across the country, including the island's Trachemys scripta elegans, Scincella vandenburghi, Takydromus wolteri, Elaphe dione, Rhabdophis tigrinus, Gloydius ussuriensis were confirmed by a total of six species, species that live in inland throughout, except for Jeju Island T. amurensis, E. schrenckii, Dinodon rufozonatum, G. brevicaudus was confirmed by a total of 5 species.

세계적으로 파충류는 10,309종이 알려져 있으며, 우리 나라에는 총 2목 11과 27종의 파충류가 서식하는 것으 로 확인되었다. 본 연구에서는 우리나라 파충류의 분포 현황을 파악하기 위해 제3차 전국자연환경조사의 결과 를 활용하여 파충류의 분포도를 작성하고, 분포 특징을 간략하게 기술하였다. 제주도를 포함한 전국에 고르게 분포한 종은 붉은귀거북, 도마뱀, 줄장지뱀, 누룩뱀, 유 혈목이, 쇠살모사 총 6종으로 확인되었으며, 제주도를 제외한 내륙 전역에 서식하는 종은 구렁이, 능구렁이, 살모사, 아무르장지뱀 총 5종으로 확인되었다. 해양파 충류는 연구대상에서 제외하였다.
