The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of the exercise needs of sport-for-all participants on their self-management and sport confidence. The subjects in this study were 345 male and female adults who resided in the area of Youngdong in Gangwan Province and enjoyed sport for all as of 2015. They were at the ages of 20 and up and played sport for all in public and private gyms for six months or more, twice or more a week. As for data analysis, factor analysis, frequencies, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were made. The findings of the study were as follows: First, the exercise needs of the sport-for-all participants were found to have exerted an influence on their self-management. Second, the exercise needs of the sport-for-all participants were found to have exerted an influence on their sport confidence. The findings of the study are expected to provide useful empirical information on how to stir up the exercise needs of sport-for-all participants to improve their self-management and sport confidence and how to increase the synergy effects of the two variables to boost motor skills.
