The purpose of this study was to compare and analyze the scientifically gifted elementary students’ parent-child relationships, creative personality and resilience and investigate the relationships between parent-child relationships, creative personality and resilience. The subjects were 147 scientifically gifted elementary students and 159 general students. The results obtained in this study were as follows. First, the results showed that the scientifically gifted elementary students’ parent-child relationships were significantly different from those of general students’. Second, the results showed that the scientifically gifted elementary student’creative personality was significantly higher than general students’. Third, the results showed that the scientifically gifted elementary students’ resilience was significantly higher than that of regular students’. Fourth, as a result of correlation analysis, it appeared a positive correlation between parent-child relationships and resilience, between creative personality and resilience.

본 연구의 목적은 초등 과학영재와 일반학생의 부모-자녀관계, 창의적 성격, 회복탄력성을 비교.분석하 고 영재학생의 부모-자녀관계, 창의적 성격이 회복탄력성과 어떠한 관계가 있는지 조사하는데 있다. 연구 대상은 초등학교 5, 6학년 과학영재 147명과 일반학생 159명이다. 본 연구를 통해 얻은 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 초등 과학영재와 일반학생의 부모-자녀관계를 비교한 결과 모두 친밀, 헌신, 존경 영역에서 초등 과학영재가 일반학생 에 비해 유의하게 높았다(p<.05). 둘째, 초등 과학영재와 일반학생의 창의적 성격을 비교한 결과 초등 과학영재의 창의적 성격 전체는 일반학생의 창의적 성격 전체에 비해 통계적으로 유의하게 높은 것으로 나타났다(p<.05). 셋 째, 초등 과학영재와 일반학생의 회복탄력성을 비교한 결과 초등 과학영재의 회복탄력성이 일반학생의 회복탄력 보다 높았으며, 이는 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 나타났다(p<.05). 넷째, 초등 과학영재의 부모-자녀관계의 하위 영역 중 친밀, 헌신, 존경 영역은 회복탄력성 평균과 유의한 정적 상관관계를 나타내었다. 반면 부모-자녀관계의 엄격 영역은 회복탄력성 평균과 부적 상관관계를 나타내었다. 초등 과학영재의 창의적 성격 전체와 회복탄력성 전체는 유의한 정적 상관관계를 나타내었다.
