This paper aimed to examine the chronological concurrent relationship between settlement and tomb in bronze age in central region of Korea. The existing study premised the change in same pottery group dated the settlement in Seoul, Gyuenggi and Yeongdong, Yeongseo but did not examine the concurrent relationship between those two regions. However, as it was verified recently that there is different in change of pottery group in even central region, it served as a momentum of reexamination of existing study. To do this, this paper sought to examine concurrent relationship between settlement and tombs in these two regions on the premise that change in form of stone arrowhead is same. As a result, we could find that the upper limit period of relic-settlement complex, so-called Yeoksam-dong type is retroactive in the late of early Bronze Age unlike existing study premised. However, as some researcher asserted, this paper also critically examined the upper limit period of Yeoksam-dong type could not retroactive in the late of early Bronze Age. The upper limit period of mid of Bronze Age in central region did not related with relic-settlement complex of Songgungni type. It was the late of mid Bronze Age that Songgungni type which originated in Geumgang basin diffused in central region. Finally, the time of appearance of dolmens was the late of early Bronze Age in Seoul amd Gyuenggi, whereas it was the early of mid Bronze Age in Yeongdong, Yeongseo and showed signs of unification from various type of tombs to dlomens.

이 글은 중부 지역의 청동기시대 단위 취락과 무덤 간의 편년적 병행 관계를 살펴보기 위해 작성되었다. 기존 필자의 연구에서는 동일한 토기군의 변화를 전제로 서울, 경기 지역과 강원 영서, 영동 지역의 단위 취락들을 편년하였지만, 두 지역 간의 병행 관계를 살펴보지 못했다. 하지만 최근 중부 지역 내에서 조차도 지역에 따라 토기군의 변화에 차이가 있음이 확인되어 기존 필자의 편년안을 재검토하는 계기가 되었다. 이를 위해 석촉의 형식 변화가 동일하다는 점을 논의의 전제로 삼아 두 지역의 단위 취락과 무덤 간의 병행 관계를 살펴보았다. 그 결과 소위 ‘역삼동유형’이라 불리는 유물ㆍ유구복합체의 상한이 필자가 생각하고 있었던 것과는 달리 청동기시대 전기 말까지 소급할 수 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 그렇지만 일부 연구자들이 주장하는 것처럼 역삼동유형의 상한이 전기 초까지 소급될 수 없음을 비판적으로 검토하였다. 중부 지역에서 청동기시대 중기의 상한은 송국리유형의 유물ㆍ유구복합체와는 관련이 없음이 다시 한번 확인되었다. 금강 유역에서 발생한 송국리유형이 중부 지역에 확산되는 시점은 중기 후반 무렵이다. 마지막으로 지석묘의 출현 시점은 서울, 경기 지역에서 전기 후엽에 출현하지만, 영서, 영동 지역에서는 중기 전반에 출현하면서 전기의 다양한 묘제가 지석묘로 단일화 되는 양상을 보여준다.
