Since 20th century, especially after 1980s and 90s, the development of the ideas of standard becomes an epitome of the history of Chinese grammar studies. It not only reflects the great influence of the ideas of the Western grammar upon Chinese grammar studies, but also indicates the efforts made by Chinese grammarians in order to seek a system of grammatical theory that suits Chinese language. In this paper we will try to pursue a clear understanding of the history of Chinese grammar by examining the history of the ideas of standard. This inquiry is meant to contribute to the systematic, theoretical treatments of Chinese grammar studies, since there have not been proper surveys and reviews concerning the idea of standard in Chinese language.

20세기 들어 80년대 특히 90년대 이래 중국어법학계에서는 “本位”이론의 연구에 대하여 관심을 많이 기울였고, 그 후 “词本位” “小句中枢说” 등 영역으로 확대 되면서 “本位”이론에 대한 연구가 본 격화 되었고, 활발하게 진행 되어 왔으며, 우수한 연구 성과도 많이 나왔다. “本位”이론의 연구의 역사는 중국어어법이론의 발전의 역사과 같이 해왔기 때문에, 중국어법이론의 연구성과와 연구동향 등에 대한 연구는 필수적이다. 중국의 “本位”이론에 대한 연구를 살펴보면 중국어학계의 “本位” 이론 내지 중국어문법에 대한 서로의 시각 차이를 볼 수 있다. 이를 살펴봄으로서 중국어학계에서 “本位” 연구 의 현주소, 더 나아가 중국 현대어법연구의 방향 및 흐름을 파악 할 수 있다 “本位” 연구의 가장 중요한 점은, “本位”는 중국어어법연구에 있어서 가장 기본적이고 가장 중요한 어법단위이기 때문이다. 따라서 중국어어법연구는 “本位” 연구부터 시작한다 해도 과언이 아니라고 할 수 있다． 국내에서 아직 중국 “本位”이론에 관한 연구상황에 대한 소개가 별로 없음으로, 앞으로 중국어법이론연구에 조금이나마 도움이 되리라 사료된다.
