This study analyzed the differences in school adjustment according to family poverty. The data came from the Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey, Multiple regression analysis(OLS) was used throughout. Result show that poverty influences in school adjustment of child. And Effect of poverty was difference according to development stage. The findings from this study suggest that societal support for poorer families contributes to improving the school adjustment of children and these social support mechanisms must take into account the child developmental stage. Moreover, these findings suggest that attaining better levels of school adjustment among low income children requires interventions according to the children's developmental stage, in conjunction with policies aiming at reducing poverty.

본 연구에서는 가족빈곤이 아동청소년의 학업적응에 미친 영향을 분석하였다. 특히, 본 연구에서는 학업적응에 대한 빈곤의 영향이 발달 시기에 따라 달라지는가를 분석하였다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 한국아동청소년패널 조사를 활용하였다. 분석결과, 아동청소년의 학업적응에 대한 빈곤의 영향은 발달시기에 따라 다르게 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 빈곤 가정의 아동청소년에 대한 사회적 지원이 발달 시기에 따라 다르게 이루어져야 함을 보여준 것이다. 특히 초등학교 4학년 시기에 경험하는 가족 빈곤에 대한 개입이 적극적으로 이루어질 필요가 있다.
