The purpose of this study is to explore the factors on the career decision to social welfare institutions. For this, data was collected 312, 4th grade students from 12 universities through all parts of the country. The followings are results. The percentage of respondents who decide career to social welfare institution is 57.1 among them. Influencing factors on the career decision to social welfare institutions are the improvement of knowledge and skills, career outcome expectation, the satisfaction of social work practicum and the times of volunteer activities. The different factors between career decision to social welfare institutions and all field of the social welfare are about learning through experiences.

본 연구의 목적은 사회복지전공 대학생들이 사회복지기관으로 진로를 결정하는 요인을 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해 전국 12개 대학에서 312명의 사회복지전공 4학년 학생들 대상으로 조사를 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 사회복지기관으로 진로를 희망한 응답자는 전체의 57.1%였으며, 사회복지기관으로 진로를 결정할 확률을 가장 증가시키는 요인은 실습 후 지식, 기술향상, 취업 기대감, 실습만족도, 자원봉사 시간의 순이었다. 사회복지기관 진로결정영향요인과 전체 사회복지분야 진로결정수준 영향요인과의 차이점은 경험학습 영역이었다. 분석결과는 사회복지 교육, 실천현장 그리고 대학에서 학생들의 진로지도를 위한 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
