Awareness of the Others and Inclusive Imagination in the poems of KIM HYE SUN - Focused on the Visual Imagery -
초록
영어
The poems of KIM HYE SUN suggests the problem awareness of human beings to the others; and, they are closely related to the philosophy of the others by Levinas because of demanding the responsibility. In her poems, the others are considered as the objects neglected and in torment such as women, animals or laborers. As her poems admits the 'difference' and understands its unfamiliarity, she thinks about the others around the subject. In Part 2, the visual imageries are expressed as the images of 'light' such as 'sun', 'bright' light, 'camera', 'moon' and 'mirror'. By them, we can find the others being in torment. In Part 3, she shows the relationship between 'You' and 'I' by exchanging their wits. Moreover, not one, but 'two moons' materialize solidarity and a 'broken mirror' shows a positive relationship between a mother and a daughter being same and different each other. As the possible time to sympathize is made, each object maintains its identity and the positive relationship with an other becomes formed. The visual imageries in her poem make us find the other's torment and suggest the co-existent relationship giving way to the others and practicing love and sacrifice.
