This study was performed to evaluate the germination characteristics of three cultivars of Capsicum annuum L. (Vig: 99.9, Obok, Hong-jinju) by bio-energy insertion qi-card treatment. Germinative energy of cultivar 99.9 increased by 38.6% by the treatment of bio-energy (qi-card) than the control. Similarly, other two cultivars (Obok, Hong-jinju) increased by 44.0% and 18.0% respectively as compared to the control. Mean germination time required for 99.9, Obok, Hong-jinju was reduced by 2.7 days and 1.4 days respectively as compared to control. Germination rate for 99.9 was increased by 2.7% as compared to the control. Similarly, other two cultivars (Obok, Hong-jinju) increased by 0.6% and 3.5% respectively as compared to the control. The result indicate that the bio-energy (qi-card) treatment improved germinative energy, mean germination time, germination rate for the germination of capsicum annuum L.
