The paper describes the main adjustments of Chinese international strategy as the thread of argument, and then analyzes the aims, priorities and evolution of China’s UN Diplomacy. The author renders that the priorities of Chinese UN Diplomacy have been transformed from struggling for political acceptance, and the role of key prolocutor of the Third World, to thinking much for economic interests and then comprehensive cooperation with the UN. In the process, China and the UN began to attach importance to each other. At present, the UN relies on China much more than before, as it becomes the main arena for China to exhibit her power and images. For the future, China should advance the reform of the UN in favor of China’s strategic interests and the common interests of other countries as well.
