This study evaluated the flexural performance of steel and PP fiber reinfroced shotcrete using round panel test according to ASTM that can consider the actual stress of fiber reinforced shotcrete in tunnel and under ground structures. The results of round panel test are converted to the square panel test results according to the EFNARC. The energy absorptions of each fiber reinforced shotcrete were classified according to the EFNARC toughness classification. Test results show that the PP fiber reinforced shotcrete has equal or better flexural performance compared with the steel fiber reinforced shotcrete.

본 연구에서는 터널 및 지하공간에서 사용되는 섬유보강 숏크리트의 실제 응력상태를 고려할 수 있는 ASTM 규정의 원형패널 시험을 활용하여 섬유 혼입량에 따른 강섬유 및 PP섬유 보강 숏크리트의 휨성능을 평가하였다. 원형패널 시험에 의한 결과를 EFNARC 규정의 사각패널 시험 결과로 환산하고 인성등급을 분류하여 각 섬유보강 숏크리트의 에너지 흡수능력을 비교하였다. EFNARC 규정으로 환산된 에너지 흡수량의 비교 결과, 강섬유 보강 숏크리트와 PP섬유 보강 숏크리트는 모두 섬유의 혼입량이 증가할수록 에너지 흡수량이 증가하였으며, PP섬유 보강 숏크리트의 에너지 흡수능력은 강섬유를 혼입한 숏크리트과 비교하여 섬유의 혼입량에 따라 동등하거나 더욱 우수한 것으로 확인되었다.
