A Fainting Condition Detection System Using Thermal Imaging Cameras Based Object Tracking Algorithm

As time goes by, experts of recent society expect that aging era will be more severely. According to increase of senior patients at the same time, safety issues and plan for reaction are seriously emerging. Especially, because seniors living alone almost imposssible to cope with the faint, one of senile symptoms; the society requires the system that correctly detects the faint situation based on image data and reporting it to the situatioonal center at the same time. Therefore, this paper proposes the faint situation recognition and response system that continuously track certain seniors living alone in tracking algorithm of combination with Kalman Filter and Camshift, and analyzes change in size and shape traced object. And the system always can correctly object tracking and faint detection by using thermal cameras.
