Data Definition of 3D Character Modeling and Animation Using H-Anim

원문정보

초록

영어

The ISO international standard for H-Anim defines the hierarchical structure of a humanoid model that can be used for generating human like motion. In general, motion capture animation can be programmed manually or graphics tools that have the function of generating animation can be used. In these cases, the modeling and animation are dependent on the program or tools used. To enhance the portability of motion capture animation in any programming environment, an exchangeable data format for H-Anim modeling and animation is required. In this paper, a method for defining H-Anim model and animation data using motion capture is defined. It includes conversion algorithms for generating H-Anim model and animation data from general 3D character and motion capture data. The resulting modeling and animation data can be displayed using a general X3D browser.
