『Pollen』is Lee Hyo-Suk’s full length novel. It describes complex triangular relationship infidelity, rape and homosexuality, could feel like a kind of erotic novel. Analyzing 'Sexuality' to Works of Lee Hyo-Suk is lively debate had long been in progress. He also spoke directly, rejecting to evaluate his works as ‘Erotism’ and judge by traditional moral to his characters. There is no superiority in characters that is corrupt or not. Lust is instinct to human. Georges Bataille regards human beings as inherently individualized. ‘Erotism’ is moved nostalgia of continuity. People who seek erotism, wanting eternity. Objects is important that erotism is affected by them. Characters of 『Pollen』pursued their passion. In this novel, Mi-ran, main character, is desired by others. She is most beautiful person in 『Pollen』. Her beauty is caused by her body and young. It means that she symbolize vitality and unlimited potential. However, Me-ran entered the World of order and contravention who ruled by Hyun-ma.『Pollen』 showed process to be stabled rules by Hyun-ma. Mi-ran’s beauty, her vitality and ability changed to exclusive and metaphysical aesthetics. Modernity megaphoned by Hyun-ma is barren space of Pluto.
