The aim of this study is to measure the effects of Christian university students’ faith maturity and resilience on forgiveness. In order to achieve this purpose, the data were collected from 510 Christian university students by a questionnaire survey. The statistic analysis of this study employed PASW(SPSSWIN 20.0), and the main methods of statistics were frequency analysis, F-test, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis, and hierarchical regression analysis. The results of this study were as follows. First, the results revealed that Christian university students’ faith maturity and resilience had significant positive correlations with forgiveness. Second, Christian university students’ faith maturity had a positive effect on forgiveness. When the Christian university students had higher levels of faith maturity, the degree of its sub-factors and total score of forgiveness were higher. Third, Christian university students’resilience had a positive effect on forgiveness. When the Christian university students had higher levels of resilience, the degree of its sub-factors and total score of forgiveness were also higher. In the above results of this study, faith maturity and resilience have been proved to be effective for enhancing the Christian university students’ forgiveness. Accordingly, faith maturity and resilience are the important variables for increasing the forgiveness quotient, and each of the variables is reciprocal two-way relations.

본 연구의 목적은 기독 대학생들의 신앙성숙도와 회복탄력성이 용서에 어느 정도 효과를 미치는지를 검증하는데 있다. 이러한 연구 목적을 성취하기 위해서 기독 대학생 510명을 대상으로 질문지법을 사용하여 조사· 분석하였다. 연구 를 위한 자료분석은 PASW(SPSSWIN 20.0)통계 패키지 프로그램을 이용하였 고, 적용된 주요 통계기법으로는 빈도분석, F-검정, 상관분석, 다중회귀분석, 위계적 회귀분석 등이었다. 연구를 통해서 확인된 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 신앙성숙도 및 회복탄 력성과 용서의 관계에는 모두 의의 있는 정적 상관을 나타냈다. 둘째, 기독 대학 생의 신앙성숙도가 높을수록 용서의 전체 하위요인에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것 으로 나타나 용서경험을 더 하는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 셋째, 기독 대학생의 회복탄 력성 지수가 높을수록 용서의 하위요인에 유의한 영향력을 미치는 것으로 나타 나 용서경험을 더 하는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 이상의 연구결과 기독 대학생들의 용서지수 증진을 위해서 신앙성숙도와 회 복탄력성에 대한 효과성이 입증되었다고 하겠다. 이러한 결과를 통해서 볼 때 신앙성숙도와 회복탄력성이 용서지수를 높이는 중요한 변수가 되고 있음을 의 미하며, 서로 각각의 변수는 상호적으로 밀접한 상관성이 있음을 의미 한다고 하겠다.
