Recently, various social discussions tend to be made in cultural discourse. Art education also tends unfold based upon the logic of culture and convergence. This study discussed possible art·science convergence programs from a cultural-ecological viewpoint using a local cultural infrastructure according to the logic of culture and convergence. It reviewed a variety of themes based on locality, confirmed scientific and technological principles meld in life stories intermingled with each theme and developed convergence programs unfolded in the form of art education. This study aims at seeking humanistic values of art education in pursuit of art education for life. It’s expected that a venue of art education, where locality, life, science and art are mediated and communicated, will be prepared.

최근 다양한 사회적 논의들이 문화 담론 안에서 이루어지는 경향을 보이고 있다. 미술교육 또한 문화와 통합의 논리에 따라 교육적 양상이 전개되는 경향을 보이고 있다. 본 연구는 문화와 통합의 논리에 따라 지역의 문화기반시설을 활용한 문화생태학적 관점의 미술·과학 융합 프로그램 구안에 대한 논의이다. 지역성에 근거한 다양한 테마들이 검토되고, 각 테마와 결부된 삶의 이야기들에 녹아 있는 과학과 기술의 원리를 확인하여 미술교육의 형식으로 풀어가는 융합 프로그램을 구안하고자 하였다. 이는 삶을 위한 미술교육을 지향하면서 미술교육의 인문학적 가치를 추구함에 그 목적이 있다. 지역, 삶, 과학, 그리고 미술이 매개되고 소통되는 미술교육의 장이 전개되기를 기대한다.
