This study proposes new perspectives in Christian education for marriage in Christian families that take into account Christian value in the face of current day challenges. Marriage is an institution that comes from God. Marriage between a man and a woman is a unification granted and blessed by God. It is also a attestation of a that binds a couple in the eyes of society which holds meaning in both a temporal and spiritual relationship. There have been many changes over time in the Christian institution of marriage and due to a plethora of difficulties and there have been many breakups of marriages. The problems faced by these couples are not ones that begin after marriage but are ones that are present in the premarital period. With this awareness, there is a need for premarital education for engaged couples to help them recognize potential problems and challenges of marriage. The church must offer education for marriage in a manner that is in concurrence with biblical teachings and Christian values. Therefore, this study will examine current situations in the challenges of marriage and offer new perspectives for education that are practical and concurrent with biblical teachings and Christian values. This is appropriate in that Christian perspectives can offer help in facing the challenges of marriage in the current day. To do this an initial examination will be made in biblical teaching on marriage. Following that, biblical standards on marriage will be considered. Finally, a Christian education program will be suggested in assisting couples in marriage and creating a healthy Christian family. This study will not only deal with marriage for couples who are already Christian but will also have meaning to non-believers in their views on marriage and the family.

본 연구는 위기에 직면해 있는 기독교가정의 결혼에 대한 현실에 대하여 기독교 신학적 가치관을 가지고 현실에 대처할 수 있는 새로운 시각의 교육적 돌봄을 제시하려고 한다. 결혼은 하나님이 처음으로 설계하시고 세우신 것이다. 결혼은 하나님께서 허락하시고 축복하신 한 남자와 한 여자의 결합으로 사회적으로도 승인된 남녀의 전 인격적인 관계이며 영적인 권리와 의무의 관계라고 할 수 있다. 그런데 기독교의 결혼관도 시대에 따라서 많이 변화하고 있으며, 기독교 가정들도 많은 위기가 찾아오면서 많은 가정들이 해체되는 것을 볼 수 있다. 이런 부부 문제의 대부분이 결혼 후부터 생기는 문제가 아니라, 결혼 전의 예비부부들의 문제라는 것을 인식하게 되고, 그 결과 예방과 발달적인 차원에서 결혼을 앞둔 청년들과 결혼을 약속한 예비부부들을 돕는 교육적인 돌봄이 필요하다. 즉, 교회가 결혼과 관련한 교회교육을 실시함으로 결혼에 대한 성경적인 본질과 가치관을 갖게 될 것이다. 따라서 본 연구는 현재 직면하고 있는 결혼의 위기에 대하여 성경신학적인 면에서 현실적인 교육적 근거와 돌봄을 제시할 것이다. 왜냐하면 결혼에 대한 성경신학적인 관점에서의 정립은 현대 결혼관의 위기를 대처할 수 있으며, 현시대의 결혼의 문제들에 대한 그 대안을 제시 할 수 있기 때문이다. 이것을 위하여 먼저 기독교 가정의 결혼에 대한 신학적인 접근을 고찰할 것이다. 그 다음으로 기독교 결혼의 성경적 기준과 그 성격을 살펴볼 것이다. 끝으로 건강한 가정을 세우기 위한 기독교 교육적 돌봄을 예방, 치유, 관계회복, 그리고 부모 됨 등 네 단계의 교육프로그램의 필요성을 제시할 것이다. 이 같은 연구는 위기를 맞고 있는 기독교가정의 결혼관에 대한 올바른 방향을 제시하는데 의미가 있다고 할 것이다.
