Existing streams of liturgical studies have been to approach historical literature study and theological interpretation for liturgical document. This methodology have understanded christianity worship interpretor-driven. and so Christianity worship needs to observer-driven approach such as Ritual, and quantitative study-driven approach of statistic analysis. Because Worship gain a better understanding through 3 approaches as above. In other words, this approaches provide clues to explain and recognize how worship consists, and how worshiper participate in worship situations and experience Holy The Father. All things are possible to develop standardized measurement scale indicating Inspirational Worship. Because, if develop this scale, we can not only understand worship structure, but also worship behavior and its characteristics. Therefore, this research developed standardized questionnaire consisted 31 items, which have based on stages of Gilbert Churchill jr.’s measurement scales. Measurement scales of inspirational worship elements will contribute to the areas of worship study for applying it to the ministerial contexts by these scales because these measurement scales haven’t been introduced to theological study areas, for instance, biblical theology study, systematic theology study, historical theology study, and practical theology study. Hopefully this study helps Korean church develop inspirational worship.

본 연구는 영적감동이 있는 예배에 대한 사회과학적 방법을 이용한 측정척도를 개발하여 한국교회의 영적감동예배에 대한 통계학적 이해를 돕는데 목적이 있다. 기존 예배학의 연구방향은 주로 역사적 문헌 연구와 예전 문서에 대한 신학적 해석이 주류를 이루었다. 이 방법은 기독교 예배를 해석자 입장에서 이해한 것으로, 의례(儀禮) 등과 같은 관찰자 중심과, 더 나아가 통계분석을 고려한 양적 연구의 입장에서 이해할 필요가 있다. 왜냐하면 이 3가지 방법을 병행할 경우, 기독교 예배를 더욱 풍성하게 이해할 수 있기 때문이다. 즉 ‘기독교 예배의 예배구조가 어떤 것이 바람직한가’와 ‘예배자가 어떻게 예배에 참석하고, 무엇보다 하나님 임재를 경험하게 되는지’를 설명하고 인지할 수 있는 단초를 제공해 준다. 이를 가능케 하는 것이 ‘영적 감동이 있는 예배’의 예배요소를 나타내는 표준화된 측정척도를 개발하는데 있다. 표준화된 설문지를 개발하면, 예배구조와 예배자의 예배행동 및 그 특징 등을 구체적으로 살펴볼 수 있다. 본 논문은 길버트 처칠(Gilbert Churchill)이 제시한 측정척도 개발 방법에 근거하되, 교회리서치연구소(CRI)가 자체 확장한 측정척도 개발 모형을 통해 영감예배 예배요소의 표준화된 설문지 문항(31항)을 산출하였다. 영감예배는 한 개인이 예배과정에서 하나님의 임재를 경험하는 정도를 말하며, 그 영감예배의 특성으로는 신앙고백적 사모하는 마음과 영적분위기(교회/예배분위기 포함), 중보기도 및 마음문 찬양과 같은 내면적 예배환경 측면과, 설교와 헌신의 찬양, 그리고 순종의 삶에 대한 결단기도의 외면적 예배활동 측면과 같은 예배요소를 갖는다. 연구 결과 영감예배의 예배구조는 크게 성령의 사역, 예배자, 예배환경, 예배활동, 하나님의 임재경험과 임재의식으로 구분된다. 특히 그 예배구조는 “예배자(신앙고백적 사모함) ⇒ 예배환경(예배분위기→중보기도→한마음 찬양) ⇒ 예배활동(설교→헌신의 찬양→결단기도) ⇒ 하나님의 임재경험(인간의 영적 욕구)의 과정을 밟는 것으로 나타났다.
