The purpose of this study is related to the entrepreneurial intentions of middle-aged and the elderly people for identifying the influence of institutional factors and psychological factors on the entrepreneurial intentions and the regulating effects of possessed property between the institutional factors and entrepreneurial intentions and psychological factors and entrepreneurial intentions. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, a survey was conducted targeting the middle-aged and the elderly people in the ages of 40~60 years who desired changing their jobs at Middle-aged/Elderly Career Center of the Labor and Management Development Foundation, and among 150 copies of collected questionnaires, 130 copies were finally used. SPSS 8.0 and AMOS 18.0 program was used for analysis and through this, the structural equation modeling was verified. Results are as follows. First, it was shown that in institutional factors, a negative social public opinion had a negative influence on entrepreneurial intentions and the entrepreneurship promotion policy and employment instability had no significant influence on entrepreneurial intentions. Second, the sub-factors of psychological factors such as risk sensitivity, achievement needs and work values all have shown to cause a significant positive influence on entrepreneurial intentions. Third, for the regulating effects of possessed property, regulating effects were shown between social public opinion and entrepreneurial intentions, sub-factors of psychological factors such as risk sensitivity and work values and entrepreneurial intentions.
