In 2014, TOPIK system was changed to TOPIKⅠ and TOPIK Ⅱ. New TOPIK Ⅱ’s main characteristics was the level evaluation ways which conducted by achieved points. So this paper analyzed 2014 TOPIK reading items, and found out that they were still similar to earlier TOPIK’s categories, that focus on readers’ comprehensions: literal and inferential comprehension, which were characterized by a text driven comprehension, despite that reading theories and most assesment frame for reading skills discussed 3 components: text, situation, reader. So this paper proposed the concept of‘information literacy’for the assessment frame for reading items in TOPIKⅡ. Information literacy is a competency that make possible to access, search, comprehend, analysis, interpret, share, and produce some kind of information resources, beyond reading information texts simply. Recently most researchers and teachers were interested in that concept. This paper classified information literacy skills and analyzed TOPIK II reading items in the point of information literacy, and then discuss how to reflect that concept on TOPIKⅡ reading items.

2014년 새롭게 개편된 한국어능력시험Ⅱ 읽기 문항은 중․고급 수준을 상정하고 있으므로, 유목적적이고 선택적 성향이 강한 읽기 특성을 충실히 반영하고 최근 국내외 읽기 교육의 성과를 반영할 수 있어야 한다. 특히 특수 목적의 외국인 학습자가 늘어나는 시점에서 한국어능력시험이 한국어 학습자의 현실적 기대 수준을 충족하고 한국어 현장 읽기 수업에 미치는 영향도 고려해야 한다. 이에 2014년 실시된 35∼37회를 대상으로 한국어능력시험Ⅱ 읽기의 문항 유형과 평가 내용을 검토하였다. 검토 결과 개편된 한국어능력시험Ⅱ 읽기 문항은 중급에서 고급까지 판정할 수 있는 문항으로 구성되어야 하는데 여전히 중급 수준으로 독자의 인지적 이해 과정에 초점을 맞추고 있어서 종전의 평가 유형과 별반 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 이런 맥락에서 이 연구는 최근 국내외 읽기 교육에서 비중이 확대되고 있는 정보 문식성에 주목하였다. 먼저 선행 연구에 나타난 정보 문식성 기술을 조사하여 정리하고, 이를 토대로검토 기준을 설정하여 한국어능력시험Ⅱ 읽기 문항과의 연계성을 검토하였다. 검토 결과 현재정보 문식성의 읽기 문항 반영 양상은 미미하였으나, 전반적으로 정보 문식성 기술의 반영 가능성은 매우 큰 것으로 예측되었다. 이와 관련하여 정보 문식성 반영을 위한 읽기 문항 개발예시에 대해서도 논의하였다.
