This dissertation selects the subject as internal structure of three texts which satirize the parcours by main characters to analysis the semiotic passion in , , laid in gold mine by Kim Youjeong. The most important core is modalisation of the characters in the three novels. Forming the subject, passion as resentment, the reader can catch these three texts equally step on syntagmatic sequence such as disappointment → dissatisfaction → aggression. Watching deeply the semiotic formula, the reader also recognizes an aspect of actant change that the gold, the simple object, was turned into the subject in the texts. This shows the period, Gold Rush, which made human beings material objects because of the gold, desire of possession. However, the passion about gold was disappointed, so it changed to agony and enjoyment in different ways. As the result, the passion in , and is combined with sadistic or masochistic deed. In this way, the texts create an effect of alienation such as a harsh caricature and a scherzando result. The desire about gold reveals simulacra which state subject imagines with a certain expectation. Indeed, the willingness from malice leads the change of actant in . Considering the figures that deceive one another in the texts, the reader also knows that their parcous reaches the truth through self-deception though it exteriorly shows an aspect of deceit, falsity or secret to others. This dissertation observes the aspect as an analysis of modalisation véridictoire. The most noticeable aspect is the detailed process of consciousness about aggression. This process awakens the reader that Kim Youjeong still had the hope human beings never abandon their positive willingness, goodwill.

본고는 김유정의 금광 소설 <金따는 콩밧>, <금>, <노다지>에 나타난 기호학적 정념을분석하기 위해 주인공의 정념 행로를 중심으로 텍스트의 내재적 구조를 밝혀 보았다. 세 편의소설에서 인물들의 양태화에 주목하였다. 이때 ‘분노’라는 정념이 주제화되며 실망감 → 불만족 → 공격성이라는 통합적 시퀀스의 단계를 따라 분석이 가능하다. ‘기대감’의 기호학적 공식을 살펴본 결과 세 편의 소설 모두 욕망의 대상이었던 금이 주체로 변형되는 행위소 역할의교환 양상을 보이고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이것은 금, 즉 물질적 대상에 대한 욕망이 인간을사물화하는 것으로 금광 열풍에 휩싸였던 당시의 세태를 짐작하게 한다. 실망감에 이른 정념은 각기 다른 양상으로 고통과 쾌락에 대한 의식화를 이루어낸다. <金따는 콩밧>과 <금>에서는 정념의 쇠퇴와 대응하여 사디즘적, 혹은 매저키즘적 행동의 통합체가 이루어진다. 이로써 금에 대한 욕망이 희화화되고 해학적 효과와 비판적 거리감이 발생한다. 금에 대한 욕망은신뢰적 기대감과 관련하여 상태 주체의 상상으로 이루어진 가상체로 드러난다. 또한 그 안에서 행위소의 교체가 일어나는 <노다지>의 경우 /부정적 행위-의지/(악의)가 실현된다. 세 편의 소설에서 주체들의 속고 속이는 양상을 고려하면, 이들의 정념 행로는 타인에 대한 기만과그 결과로 드러나는 허위, 비밀의 양상이 자기기만을 거쳐 진실에 이르게 되는 것을 알 수있다. 이러한 양상을 진리 검증 양태화의 분석으로 살펴볼 때, ‘분노’의 정념 행로에서 두드러지는 양상은 공격성에 대한 세밀한 의식화 과정이다. 이는 김유정이 인간의 /긍정적-행위 의지/(선의)에 대한 기대를 저버리지 않고 있었음을 알게 한다.
